Indulge your inner cowboy (or cowgirl) this season with the Kamloops Cowboy Festival. This is the largest Cowboy Festival in Canada, and one of the largest in North America. The Festival will be held from March 16th – 19th, showcasing the best in western poetry and music with cowboy artists and artisans to boot (no pun intended).
The Western Art and Gear Show runs all weekend long, displaying a wide range of artwork and custom-made cowboy equipment. On Friday and Saturday nights, guests have a choice between main stage concerts and dinner theatre shows at the Kamloops Convention Centre. Following this, Cowboy Church will be held on Sunday morning at the Cavalry Church. A series of relevant seminars and workshops are also offered over the weekend.
This is a fun opportunity for your entire family to come over, let their hair down and kick their boots off and enjoy some western culture and festivities.
