Academy award-winner, Morgan Freeman, who's played 'the almighty' in previous roles, takes on a quest to discover the beliefs, struggles and inspirations that drive humanity.
He's the fourth the top grossing actor, bringing in $4.515 billion from box office sales.
He's also made Forbe's list of the top most trusted celebrities.

In a time where opinions are more politically charged than ever and humans are quickly sorting each other into 'either or' camps, Morgan Freeman teams up with National Geographic in a six-part series to uncover the parts of humanity that unite us all.
"I found that although we come from different places, different backgrounds, have vastly different ideas, we are all bound together by our humanity," said Freeman.

Freeman travels around the world and talks with people who have experienced solitary confinement, the destruction of war, separation, segregation and more.
He wrestles with difficult topics like justice and revenge, rebellion and power, war and peace, love, freedom and what brings people together.

The show premiered on Wednesday October 11th and it's already getting rave reviews.
