For the past two months, British Columbians have been nominating and voting for their the local small businesses in each of the 10 categories, and 12 Okanagan based companies have made the cut.
Companies like Csek Creative, Okanagan Rawsome Natural Foods Inv., and Courtyard Gallery were among the Okanagan semi-finalists.
Nikki Csek, CEO of Csek Creative, a full-service digital agency, says the support they have received from their community has been amazing.
"The way businesses advanced to the top 10 was by people voting for them on the Small Business BC voting platform," says Csek. "It was amazing how many clients, friends, business people within the community and peers in the industry sent back an email to let us know they voted. It means so much to us to have people that really believe in us, support us and are willing to take the time to show that support."
