Dynamic baseball Hall of Famer Willie Mays, who had all-time great statistics and made arguably the most famous catch in MLB history in the 1954 World Series, has died. The legend passed away “peacefully and among loved ones” at the age of 93 on Tuesday, his son Michael Mays said.

A tragic incident in Vaughan, north of Toronto, has claimed the life of a six-year-old boy this morning. Police said the child was struck by a school bus and killed.

A Halifax brewery called Think Brewing has been sued by Moncton-based Good Robot Brewing for allegedly screwing up the recipe for tens of thousands of cans of beer. Good Robot says their plans for a successful relaunch hinged on the beer, which was botched.

Unionized maintenance engineers at WestJet are preparing to go on strike and that has led to dozens of flight cancellations. The company said in a statement that it plans to cancel 40 flights, which would affect around 6,500 passengers.
In preparation for labour action by WestJet Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and other Tech Ops employees, @WestJet has started cancelling and consolidating flights.

After footage of an apparent road rage incident that showed a person threatening another driver with a knife went viral, an arrest has been made. Police say 21-year-old Ajax resident Rishabh Barua was arrested shortly after the incident on Sunday.
