1. 69-year-old begins legal action to officially lower age
A 69-year-old Dutch man has begun a legal process to try and lower his age. Emile Ratelband says he has the body of a 45-year-old and identifies as such. He said “you can change your name. You can change your gender. Why not your age?” The verdict in his case will come in a month.

2. White House suspends Jim Acosta’s press pass
CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent is now without a White House press pass. Jim Acosta was denied entry to the White House just hours after clashing with President Trump on Wednesday. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders cited Acosta’s refusal to give up the microphone to a young staffer as the reason for the ban.

3. Ronaldo gets his first Champions League goal for Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a beautiful goal on Wednesday, which was his first Champions League goal playing for Juventus. Adding to the storyline, the marker came against one of his former teams, Manchester United. His efforts weren’t enough, however, as Manchester United scored a pair of late goals to win the game 2-1.

4. Dead brothel owner wins state assembly race in Nevada
This is a real headline from the Associated Press on Wednesday: “Deceased Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof wins state assembly race, weeks after he was found dead at his Love Ranch brothel by porn actor Ron Jeremy.” You can’t make that stuff up, but it happened in Nevada.

5. Ryanair fires six employees who staged a fake photo
In October, six Ryanair employees staged a photo of them “sleeping overnight” on the floor of a Spanish airport as they were unable to find a hotel. The photo spread rapidly, but it came out that it was staged by the employees. Now, all six have been fired for the bad PR they brought upon the company.
Budget airline Ryanair has confirmed in a statement to Euronews this morning that it has sacked six cabin crew involved in "staging a fake photo" of them sleeping on the floor of a Spanish airport last month.
