1. “Rough sleeping” banned in Hungary as new homelessness law
A new law in Hungary is sparking outrage as police can now treat street homelessness as a crime. Officers can now remove homeless people from the streets along with their shelters. Citizens marched outside Parliament in Budapest against the law, which came into effect on Oct. 15.

3. A postal strike may disrupt the delivery of legal cannabis in Canada
Today, recreational cannabis officially became legal in Canada, but online deliveries may not reach people in a very timely fashion. The union that represents workers with Canada Post issued a strike notice on Tuesday saying that rotating strikes could begin as early as Monday.

4. Toronto Police welcome to march in Pride Parade in 2019
