Canada is not the first nation to be the target of a Donald Trump Twitter tirade, however, people on both sides of the border were a taken aback as the US President took some very public shots at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over the past week.
Prime Minister Trudeau is being so indignant, bringing up the relationship that the U.S. and Canada had over the many years and all sorts of other things...but he doesn’t bring up the fact that they charge us up to 300% on dairy — hurting our Farmers, killing our Agriculture!

After attending the G7 summit in Quebec over the weekend, the president quickly took to social media calling Trudeau both “meek and mild” as well as “very dishonest and weak” based on Canada’s response to tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
PM Justin Trudeau of Canada acted so meek and mild during our @G7 meetings only to give a news conference after I left saying that, “US Tariffs were kind of insulting” and he “will not be pushed around.” Very dishonest & weak. Our Tariffs are in response to his of 270% on dairy!

Fair Trade is now to be called Fool Trade if it is not Reciprocal. According to a Canada release, they make almost 100 Billion Dollars in Trade with U.S. (guess they were bragging and got caught!). Minimum is 17B. Tax Dairy from us at 270%. Then Justin acts hurt when called out!

Americans made some solid points during the #ThanksCanada Tweetfest, many choosing to highlight the several occasions that their neighbours to the north stood up for the US and lent a helping hand.
On 9/11, thousands of Americans on 238 airliners were diverted to Canada as part of Operation Yellow Ribbon. Canada cared for them for days, The small town of Gander took in 7,000 people alone. In our hour of need, Canada was there.

And this orange maggot calls them an enemy
#Canada spirited four American hostages out of Iran in 1979, welcomed thousands of stranded U.S. airline passengers on 9/11, has our back in every war, shares the world’s longest undefended border with us and a symbiotic North American economy. THE best neighbor we could have. https://t.co/6c9qcPXn3C

#ThankCanada for providing my father in law with free cancer treatment for three years. His healthcare costs would’ve been in the millions in the US and would’ve bankrupted us all. Also, for my ER visit a couple of years ago, where I got the best medical attention ever.

In a press conference following the G7 summit, Trudeau said he personally told the US president that his aluminum and steel tariffs were "insulting" and that Canada would not hesitate to impose retaliatory measures.
