PHOTOS: Opening day at Whistler was epic

Skiers and boarders were praising Mother Nature Friday as Whistler enjoyed an epic start to the season.

Whistler’s original opening date was slated for November 23rd, but as a cold front swept in the resort decided Friday would be worth it and paid off.

The mountain received 32 centimetres between Wednesday and Friday morning and social media was going off with people having the best day ever:
