(UPDATE: March 13) — The McMorris Mystery has been partly solved! After landing in Kamloops on Sunday, Mark McMorris and the rest of the Burton snowboard crew are now in Blue River hitting the mountains with Mike Wiegele Heli Skiing.
We're glad to see they're enjoying the best of B.C.!
(Monday, March 12) — It looks like Mark McMorris made a stop in Kamloops on Sunday and his followers were equally stoked and curious what the two-time Olympic medalist was doing in the Tournament Capital.
McMorris, who just won bronze in men's snowboard slopestyle at the winter Olympics, shared an Instagram story of his plane touching down in Kamloops on Sunday.

The Canadian snowboarder was in Colorado last week for the Burton U.S. Open, where he won the men's slopestyle title on Friday for the second year in a row. It looks like McMorris was on his return trip to Canada when he stopped in Kamloops.
There was no word on exactly what Canada's favourite snowboarder was doing in the River City, but it seems his stay was short and sweet.
A few hours later another Twitter user reported spotting the slopestyle champ at a restaurant in Whistler.
Just saw @markmcmorris at restaurant in whistler, should’ve gotten a picture but I was too star struck #twoyearsinarow
