The Kamloops Blazers already knew they were BC Division champions before taking to the ice on Wednesday night.

Josh Pillar, Logan Bairos, Ethan Brandwood and Orrin Centazzo scored for Kamloops in the win, while Dylan Garand made 28 saves for the shutout.
The 4-0 win was surely enjoyable for the Blazers, but the fun part came after the game when the players and staff were able to celebrate the BC Division title.

After an impressive season of 18 wins and just four losses, captain Connor Zary hoisted the trophy at centre ice and was quickly mauled by his teammates.
Once the on-ice celebrations started to wrap up, everyone gathered for an emotional team photo with the trophy at centre ice.

For the photo, they held up the jersey of teammate Kyrell Sopotyk, whose playing career was cut short after he was paralyzed in a snowboarding accident in January.
“Beyond thankful to be a part of this tremendous organization full of great teammates and staff,” tweeted Sopotyk. “Congrats on winning the BC Division, wish I was there to celebrate with you guys.”
