Congratulations to Kamloops product @LoganStankoven on his selection to @HockeyCanada’s Under 18 Team!🔥🔥 https://t.co/qAezM3eK3C
Unfortunately for Blazers fans, that means Stankoven will be out of the lineup after April 12, as he’ll begin self-isolation on that date in anticipation of travelling to Texas.
The 17-year-old has been a huge part of the Blazers over the past two years, scoring 29 goals and adding 19 assists in 59 games during his rookie season.
He’s off to a hot start this season as well, with three goals and one assist in his first two games of the 2020-21 WHL season.
Kamloops is off to a hot start as well, as a 6-1 win over the Prince George Cougars on Thursday night pushed the team’s record to 3-0.
