British Columbia is reporting 405 new cases of COVID-19, this brings the total number of active cases in the province to 3,071.
There have been 219,584 total COVID-19 cases reported in the province since the beginning of the pandemic, from those, 214,047 people who tested positive from the virus have recovered.
Of the new/active cases this is where they are coming from in each region:
There are currently 276 people in hospital with 95 of those individuals in intensive care.
81 percent of people in critical care due to COVID-19 are not fully vaccinated.

In the past 24 hours, six new deaths have been reported bringing the provincial pandemic death toll to 2,351.
From the new deaths, three were reported in Fraser Health, two in Island Health, and one in Vancouver Coastal Health.
The COVID-19 outbreak at Peace Villa in Northern Health has been declared over, but another outbreak was discovered at Ponderosa Lodge in Interior Health.

Over the past two weeks (Nov. 18 to Dec. 1) this is how cases hospitalized broke down from unvaccinated to vaccinated.
Since December of last year, the province has administered 8,761,618 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
From the eligible people five and older in BC, 85.1% (4,240,459) have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 81.8% (4,079,299) have received their second dose.
Of the eligible people 12 and older in BC, 91.2% (4,229,649) have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 88% (4,079,277) received their second dose and 10% (469,176) have received a third dose.
Also, 91.6% (3,963,783) of all eligible adults in BC have received their first dose, 88.5% (3,829,103) received their second dose and 11% (468,509) have received a third dose.
