British Columbia is reporting 946 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, this brings the total number of active cases in the province to 2,876.
Since the start of the pandemic there have been 220,530 cases of COVID-19 reported in the province, of those cases 215,190 people who tested positive have recovered from the virus.

There are currently 214 people in hospital with COVID-19, of those people 89 are in intensive care.

In the past 72 hours, 11 new deaths have been reported bringing the provincial pandemic death toll to 2,362.
From the new deaths, five were reported from Fraser Health, four in Northern Health, and two in Interior Health.
There are currently five active COVID-19 outbreaks at healthcare facilities across the province.

Since December 2020, the province has administered 8,811,162 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
From the eligible people five and older in BC, 85.5% (4,261,317) have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 82.0% (4,085,935) have received their second dose.
Of the eligible people 12 and older in BC, 91.3% (4,232,872) have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 88.1% (4,085,907) received their second dose and 11% (492,236) have received a third dose.
Also, 91.7% (3,966,651) of all eligible adults in BC have received their first dose, 88.7% (3,834,996) received their second dose and 11% (491,553) have received a third dose.
