The biggest news of the day for Interior Health was the new outbreak that was declared at a FedEx depot at Kelowna International Airport.

The business has sufficient precautions in place to prevent COVID-19 transmission to the public, and there has been no COVID-19 exposure to the general public,” said a release from IH.

“The business is not directly connected to the airport and no exposures have occurred from FedEx staff to airport workers.”

So far, three staff members have tested positive for COVID-19, while another six are self-isolating at this time.
