Kelowna RCMP have released a composite drawing as they look to further their ongoing investigation into an assault which allegedly took place in late July 2017 in Kelowna.
On July 26th, 2017 shortly after 7:00 pm, the Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of alleged threats and assault that had just been committed in the area of Lawrence Avenue and Ethel Street. The incident involved 14-year-old female victim, whereas the suspect allegedly coerced the young girl to get into his vehicle and the victim was driven from the area of Richter Street and Lawrence Avenue to a parking lot in the vicinity of Lawrence Avenue and Ethel Street. The suspect parked the vehicle at the second location, at which time there was an incident of sexual touching that is alleged to have occurred.
The suspect was described to police as a Caucasian male, 40 to 50 years of age, with dark hair, brown eyes and a scar on his left abdominal side. He had reportedly been driving a dark coloured Hyundai, possibly an Elantra, with silver rims. The suspect was seen wearing beige khaki dress shorts and black shoes.
