Get ready music fans because a collection of our country’s hottest rock acts are setting out for the tour of the summer, and they’re making a stop right here in the valley.
Big Wreck, Headstones, Moist and The Tea Party are all joining forces to form the Saints and Sinners 2020 Tour, which will see the bands trek across Canada with their grunge-tinted tunes.
The best part? The entire tour will be kicking off at Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday, Jun. 26!
This Canadian rock spectacle will not be one to miss as a string gold and platinum-certified albums rest among the bands, who all rose to fame during the late 90s.
Having all been featured on the soundtrack to many of our adolescence with hits like “The Oaf,” “Leave It All Behind,” “Push” and “Temptation,” attendees can expect a night riddled with nostalgia that showcases a snapshot of Canada’s rich history of rock and roll.
Another unique aspect to the show, aside from the magnitude of its monster roster, is that the lineup will rotate for each performance.
This means that it will be a complete surprise to fans as to which band will emerge from the darkness first.
Excited yet? So are we, and so are the bands!
"Every night, in every city, will be an amazing experience and that definitely goes for the bands too," said David Usher of Moist.
“I’m not sure that there’s a single concertgoer out there that can handle what’s going to happen when all four bands are firing on all cylinder’s night after night, this is a tour not to be missed. Mark my words,” added Jeff Martin of The Tea Party.
Tickets for this hell-raising gig are scheduled to go on sale this Friday (Jan. 24) at 10 am. VIP Packages are also available and get you early admission to the show, a chance to meet the bands and some rad swag.
One dollar from each ticket sold will be going on to support the Unison Benevolent Fund that provides counselling and emergency relief services to the Canadian music community.
