On July 31, 2000, Korn played a show at Skyreach Place in Kelowna with support from Powerman 5000 and Papa Roach.
A quarter century later, Papa Roach will return to the Central Okanagan for the first time since 2000 as part of the rock band’s Rise of the Roach tour.
They’ll be back inside the same building, now called Prospera Place, for the show on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
The Used and Sleep Theory will join Papa Roach on their Canadian run this fall.
“Canada! We heard you loud and clear,” says Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix.
“This is the most stacked lineup we’ve ever brought your way, and we’re beyond stoked to hit cities we haven’t played in years – This is going to be a night you won’t want to miss!
A release from Live Nation says the tour will celebrate 25+ years of Papa Roach’s rock legacy and it’ll be the band’s “biggest-ever production for a once-in-a-generation tour.”
Tickets will go on sale online starting at 10 am on Friday, May 2, with a limited supply priced at a commemorative $25.
As the band continues their work to raise awareness for 9-8-8 Canada, the Suicide Crisis Helpline, $1 for every ticket sold on this tour will be donated to a suicide prevention organization from that show’s home province.
