Queens of the Stone Age bringing their fall tour to BC

Queens of the Stone Age will be hitting the road later this year for a 25-date North American tour.

The band was formed in Seattle so you know they won’t be skipping the Pacific Northwest and that means a stop in Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum on Monday, Oct. 2.

The End Is Nero tour will be in support of the band’s new album, In Times New Roman…, which is due out on June 16.

Viagra Boys and Jehnny Beth will provide support as opening acts for the west coast dates.

Tickets go on sale at 10 am on Friday, June 9.

Josh Homme formed Queens of the Stone Age in 1996 and has remained the only constant member through multiple lineup changes over the years.

That lineup has been consistent for the last decade though, with Homme playing alongside Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore.

The band has released eight studio albums over the years and been nominated for several Grammy awards, although they have never won.

This will be their first tour since the Villains World Tour in 2017-18.
