The Lumineers announce west coast tour dates including Vancouver and The Gorge

When The Lumineers announced their North American tour dates in August, there was some frustration from fans in the Pacific Northwest.

The popular band wasn’t coming close to the region and it left a lot of people wondering when they might announce more shows.

Well, that time has now come, as The Lumineers have revealed an additional 18 tour dates that’ll see them play the Pacific Northwest and the rest of Western Canada.

For fans in British Columbia, the most noteworthy dates are Saturday, Aug. 15 at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington and Tuesday, Sept. 8 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

The new stops also include shows in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg in the first half of September.

The Lumineers have enjoyed a steady rise to fame and an always-increasing fanbase over the past decade.

In 2011, their single “Ho Hey” became an international hit and it led them into the release of their first album, which was self-titled.

Since then, they’ve followed that up with the chart-topping album Cleopatra in 2016 and their most recent work, III in 2019.

Their popularity is shown by the fact that this tour is a stadium tour that will almost certainly sell out, despite what are likely to be expensive tickets.

Gregory Alan Isakov and Daniel Rodriguez of Elephant Revival will be the opening acts for The Lumineers in all shows discussed in this story.
