Over the last few years, fall has seemingly become pumpkin spice season.
Pumpkin spice lattes make sense, and there’s been plenty of other interesting fall creations that have become popular, but the latest makes us ask the question, ‘have we gone too far?’”
This fall, Kraft Dinner is coming out with a limited edition batch of Pumpkin Spice KD in Canada.
“KD has always been known for its one of a kind cheesy taste and after years of watching Canadians get excited for pumpkin spice season,” said Brian Neumann from Kraft Heinz Canada.
“We felt that it was time to combine the two iconic flavours and create Pumpkin Spice KD.”
It may seem like a joke, and in a way the company is trolling the ‘PSL’ craze with this creation, but it still appears to be very much real.
“Canadians have always made KD their own way and not many people would expect KD to be part of the PSL conversation, but that’s the whole point,” added Neumann.
It won’t be something that just everyone can try, however, as only 1,000 cups will be made.
You’ll have to get a bit lucky to be one of the 1,000 who get to try this interesting snack, as you can sign up online to have a chance to get a cup when it’s released in October.
If you are selected, you’ll receive the KD, a pumpkin spice boost pack, a fork and “a signature white coffee style cup with your name written on it (spelled wrong of course).”
