With the Integrated Career Opportunities at Pathways Abilities Society, Orchard Gardens Seniors Community has the pleasure of having Jack as their employee.
This employment program creates opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities to find, secure and maintain employment – it’s driven by the belief that people with diverse abilities are entitled to the same rights and opportunities as all citizens.
Jack has been working in the Orchard Gardens kitchen for over a year, and Brett DeWitt, the general manager, says Jack works hard, has a great attitude, and is a bundle of energy.
“He integrates really well with his coworkers, as well as seniors when he’s out there helping,” explains DeWitt.
