10 Kamloops companies up for Startup Canada awards tonight at The Rex

Kamloops is hosting the regional Startup Canada Awards tonight at The Rex and there is no shortage of local representation on the list of finalists.

Several local entrepreneurs and businesses are up for awards tonight. The celebration, organized this year by Kamloops Innovation and Startup Kamloops, toasts to those demonstrating excellence in B.C.’s entrepreneurship community. Kamloops nominees include:

Woman Entrepreneur:

Senior Woman Entrepreneur:

Entrepreneur Promotion:

Several local dignitaries will be presenting awards, including:

  • Finlay Stewart, CEO of TRUCT, and

The awards are free to attend, but you need to register to get a ticket. A networking reception is set for 5:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony will get underway at 6:30 p.m. Hotel 540 is hosting a rooftop after party following the awards.
