Tire slashing frenzy in Kamloops

On the morning of May 19th, Kamloops RCMP responded to multiple calls about slashed tires of vehicles in the Brocklehurst area.

Residents in the area of Windbreak, Pondorosa and Laroque were waking up to find tires on their vehicles damaged.

Currently officers have responded to 12 incidents and are following up with more potential investigations.

"This appears to be a non-targeted event, but a clear act of mischief by someone with senseless disregard for personal property," said Cpl. Cheryl Bush, Kamloops RCMP.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Kamloops RCMP or contact Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
