Here are the finalists for the Mayor's Gala for the Arts

Finalists have been revealed for the Mayor’s Awards for the Arts, recognizing artists and art supporters in Kamloops and the Thompson-Nicola Region.

For Emerging Artist, the finalists are visual artist Zach Abney (see his work here), musician JP Lancaster (see his work here) and actor and director Andrew Cooper (see his work here).

For Business in Support of the Arts, the finalists are Kamloops This Week, CFJC Midday Show and the Royal Bank of Canada.

For Artist of the Year: Visual Arts, the finalists are Kristina Benson (see her work here), David Langevin (see his work here) and Donald Lawrence (see his work here).

Finalists were revealed at a nominee reception at the Old Courthouse on November 27th.

The awards will be presented at a Copacabana-themed gala on January 20th at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre. Tickets are available online through the Kamloops Live Box Office.
