The 47th annual Seniors’ Light Tour is returning to Kamloops next month.
On Thursday, Dec. 7, people 55 and over will be given a chance to tour the festive Christmas light displays around town.
After the tour, there is a tea service and a sing-a-long at the Sandman Centre.
This year, the event will be fun from 6:30-10 pm with nearly 20 pickup stops along the way.
After the event wraps up for the evening, everyone will be taken back to their pickup location by bus.
The event is free, but registration is required before Friday, Dec. 1.
Registration information is available by clicking on this link.
For those wanting to volunteer for the event, contact Chelsea Tekonoy at [email protected] by Friday, Dec. 1. An orientation will be held on Dec. 4.
In previous years, close to 100 volunteers and 25 buses have helped 600 seniors enjoy the annual tour.
