The City of Kamloops is selling five lots on the North Shore along the Rivers Trail.
Located at 577-593 Royal Avenue, the five city-owned lots are ready for construction and minimum offers range from $360,000 to $375,000 plus GST.
The City will be accepting offers for individual or multiple lots until Aug. 19 at 1 pm. Offers that are "most advantageous" to the city’s interest will be given first priority.
In addition, the city has introduced a new format to process the sale of the Royal Avenue lots and future real estate sales.
“We’ve made a shift to fully digital. All of the property information, title documents, and contracts for purchase and sale are available on our website,” explained David Freeman, the city’s assistant development, engineering and sustainability department/real estate manager.
Freeman explains that this will provide a more efficient process for potential purchasers.
Not only that, the new online format will also meet the city’s sustainability goals because they will not have to print and mail out large real estate packages.
