For the entire week, the City of Kamloops is encouraging everyone to ditch the car and hop on a bike!
GoByBike Week is the new popular springtime Bike to Work Week event that aims at encouraging people to stay active all year long!
In recognition of the week long event, the city will hosting celebration stations at the bottom of the new multi-use pathway through Peterson Creek Park.
Stations will be set up today and Oct. 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
All registered riders will be eligible to win a Trek Marlin 5 bike from PSoke ‘N Motion, valued at $650.
In addition, riders across the province will have a chance to win a six-day cycling trip for two to Sicily! Visit the Bike to Work website to register and enter to win either of the prizes.
If the prizes aren’t enough incentive, the beautiful weather should be!
