A Kamloops resident woke up to quite the shock on Saturday morning after finding an intoxicated stranger in their hot tub.
It turns out, the man had just finished an early morning crime spree and went straight from the hot tub to a jail cell.
The RCMP was first notified about the man around 6 am on Saturday, after he allegedly rummaged through a shed and threw the contents around at an address on Hudson Bay Trail.
After stealing a blanket, he was chased by security from a construction site on Victoria Street after smashing a window, leaving the blanket behind at the scene of the crime.
Finally, around an hour later, he was found intoxicated in the aforementioned homeowner’s hot tub, which prompted another call to police.
Officers arrived and arrested the man, letting him sober up in jail before he was released later in the day on an undertaking.
