Three people were arrested in a commercial break-in early Thursday morning.
According to the Kamloops RCMP, officers were called to the 1000-block of Hillside Drive where the suspects allegedly entered multiple storage containers and were stealing from them.
With information from the responding officers, two of the suspects were found nearby and arrested.
“As part of the investigation, two other suspects were also arrested soon after, and stolen merchandise was recovered and returned,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn in a news release.
One person was later released without being processed.
The other three people were released with court dates and conditions.
One of the male suspects was reportedly wanted on unendorsed warrants and held for court. He was released, however, and is due back in court on Jan. 13.
Cpl. Evelyn said charges are expected.
The RCMP are asking for any witnessed to give detachment a call at (250) 828-3000 and refer to file 2025-757.
