(UPDATE: Jan. 7 @ 2:10 pm) – The Kamloops RCMP have confirmed that a missing 19-year-old has been located “safe and sound.”
On Dec 18, the police issued a news release asking for the public’s help locating Holy Dunstan.
“The RCMP thanks the media and public for their assistance,” the RCMP said in a statement issued Tuesday afternoon.
KamloopsNow has removed the youth’s picture to respect her privacy.

(Original story: Dec. 18 @ 3:26 pm) – The Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a 19-year-old female who has not been seen for nearly a week.
A news release issued Wednesday afternoon said Holy Dunstan was last seen on Dec. 12 on the North Shore.
Police say she is known to frequent the downtown core and was recently seen near the Valleyview Drive hotel strip.
“Police are concerned for Holy’s well-being and need to locate her to ensure she is safe,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn. “If you are Holy or have information on her whereabouts, please reach out as soon as possible.”
Dunstan is described as:
Indigenous female
5’2”
180 lbs
Long brown hair and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a brown plaid coat and black jeans
