(UPDATE: Nov. 25 @ 11:31 am) – The Kamloops RCMP say the 12-year-old missing girl that was reported missing Monday morning has been located.
The RCMP issued a news release at 10:57 am and by 11:27 am, they said the young girl had been found and “is safe.”

(Original story: Nov. 25 @ 11:11 am) – The Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a 12-year-old girl who was last seen early Monday morning.
According to the police, Bethany Blackwell left her home between 6:15 and 7:30 am and has not been heard from since.
The RCMP say she lives on the North Shore and they have been told this is very out of character for the youth.
She is described as a white female who stands 5’4” and has short sandy blond hair with blue-grey eyes with a slender build.
The RCMP say she was possibly wearing blue jeans, a black knit hat with a pom pom, tie-dyed rainbow coloured runners and a winter jacket.
Anyone who has information about Bethany’s location is asked to immediately call the RCMP detachment at (250 ) 828-3000.
