Kamloops RCMP seek tips on missing 35-year-old woman

The Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who is wanted on an unendorsed warrant.

Marika Viens has reportedly not been seen since July 15 but was reported missing on July 22.

A news release says she was last seen near Bert Edwards School in Kamloops.

“We are concerned about Marika’s wellbeing, but also have reason to believe she may be avoiding police due to an endorsed warrant for assault related to a Barriere investigation,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson in the news release.

She is described as:

• 35 years old

• 5’4

• 110 lbs

• Long blond hair

• Green eyes
