The Kamloops RCMP is seeking witnesses to a break-in at Aberdeen Mall early Sunday morning.
At around 5:30 am, a dark Chevrolet Silverado with an extended cab and Alberta plates was seen committing a break-and-enter at the Lululemon store at the mall.
The truck was later found on fire on Hwy. 5A in Knutsford and local residents extinguished the blaze before it was able to spread.
“The suspects were not on scene and it is believed a secondary vehicle was involved,” reads an RCMP release.
Video footage from the Lululemon store shows two suspects wearing high-vis clothing and gloves committing the offence.
“If you were in the area or possibly have dashcam footage of this pickup truck and/or a secondary vehicle, please contact Cst. Lagrandeur at (250) 828-3000,” added the news release.
