Kamloops man faces charges for possession of stolen property

The Kamloops RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) have recovered a series of weapons, stolen property and illegal substances from the Kamloops area.

On Friday night, CRU and General Duty members executed a search warrant at a residence on Royal Avenue in Kamloops.

Inside the residence, four people were arrested - all known to the police.

Police searched the home and seized various weapons including, five fire arms -both shotguns and rifles, two pellet guns and a large amount of ammunition.

They also seized illegal substances including 25 grams of Fentanyl/Heroin, 47 grams of Methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of MDMA.

Stolen property was also seized, including a 1986 Chevrolet Corvette as well as tools and electronics.

A male identified as a prolific offender has been held in custody and faces several charges.

Police are continuing to look through the seized property in order to return items to their rightful owners.
