Male arrested after breaking into city-owned warehouse

The Kamloops RCMP have arrested a 43-year-old male following the break-in of a City of Kamloops warehouse.

This morning at around 6 a.m. a citizen called the police to report that he could see someone inside a city-owned warehouse on Mission Flats Road.

Officers arrived and the canine unit found the suspect hiding inside. According to police, the man forced a door open to gain entry.

Nothing was taken from the building.

The suspect, who was previously known to police, has been released with a future court date.
