(UPDATE: Nov. 13 @ 11:33 am) – A man allegedly wanted for robbery and assault has been arrested, say the Kamloops RCMP.
Last week, the RCMP issued a plea for information about Ronald Douglas Arndt, 31, who may have been in Kamloops or Nanaimo.
On Wednesday, they provided an update and confirmed he had been arrested in Nanaimo.
He is due in court late this week.
(Original story: Nov. 6 @ 11:33 am) – The Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a wanted man who may be in Kamloops or Nanaimo.
On Wednesday, the RCMP issued a news release seeking information about Ronald Douglas Arndt.
The 31-year-old is wanted on a warrant for robbery and assault causing bodily harm, police say.
“Although Ronald Arndt was noted to be in the Kamloops area, his current whereabouts are unknown,” said Cpl. Dana Napier.
“Information obtained also suggests he may be in the Nanaimo area.”
Arndt is described as:
Caucasian
5’9”
187 lbs
Brown Hair
Blue eyes
Medium build
Tattoo on neck
Anyone with information on his location is asked to call their nearest police department.
The RCMP did not include a picture of Arndt in their news release and did not immediately reply to KamloopsNow’s request for one.
