(UPDATE: 10:50 am) - Kamloops RCMP has provided new details about a multi-vehicle collision that occurred downtown at 9:35 am.
According to police, a City Transit bus was heading east on Seymour Street and crossing 6th Avenue on a green light when it was struck by a pickup truck that ran a red light.
The bus veered off and hit an unattended SUV parked on the side of the road.
Both of the drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one on the bus was reported injured.

A multi-vehicle incident has Seymour Street eastbound down to one lane near the 7-11.
According to witness Nathan Ritchie, the incident occurred between three vehicles, one of which was a City bus. This is the second time in seven days City Transit has been involved in a collision.
At this point, there is no word on if anyone was injured but an ambulance was at the scene.
