(Update - 12 pm): Power has been restored to all residents north of Kamloops.
(Update - 10:10 am): Power has been restored to almost all the residents near Vinsulla.
Due to a bird contacting the power lines, 1,840 customers are still affected near Sun Peaks.

(Original - 9:30 am): BC Hydro is currently on scene of two power outages affecting numerous customers north of Kamloops.
According to Hydro, 3,465 customers are affected east of Westsyde Road, north-west of Paul Lake Road, and South of BC Hwy 5.
Crews are on site of the outage near Sun Peaks which has seen power off since 8:33 am. The cause of this outage is still under investigation.
The outage near Vinsulla has yet to see crew members arrived and is still under investigation. The power has been off there since 8:32 am.
