RCMP investigating a single vehicle crash that sent a Kamloops man to the hospital

A single vehicle collision in Aberdeen on Wednesday saw one man taken to the hospital, say the Kamloops RCMP.

Around 1 pm, the detachment received reports of an injured man yelling near Howe Road and Glenmohr Drive.

When officers responded, they found a vehicle had crashed down an embankment, a news release said.

A brown Honda CRV was "completely demolished” after leaving the road and crashing through trees, police say.

The injured man was taken to RIH with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one else was near the collision and no other injuries were reported but an investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the detachment at (250) 828-3000 and refer to file 2024-38798.
