Searching for the holy grail? Well, Red Collar Brewing might have you covered.
Introducing it prior to the Father's Day weekend, the "Elderberry Sour" is 6.0%, ABV 25 IBU, very purple, and, apparently, delicious.
"A style which dates back to 932 AD and the ancient brewery of Camelot, this kettle soured ale is brewed with an array of hops and fermented on elderberries," wrote Red Collar on a Facebook post.
"Floral hop aromas, subtle sweetness and audible notes of coconuts create a light bodied, crisp, and fruity brew to the palate, despite being Black as Knight to the eye. This beer uses 100% unrepressed elderberries, grown on some huge...tracks of land."
Residents can try the brew at Red Collar from Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 3 and 10 p.m.
