(March 12 @ 4:55 p.m.) — RCMP say Westsyde Road is open to single lane alternating traffic after this afternoon's house fire.
The road closure between Huntington Drive and Kyle Drive has caused serious congestion in the area. Expect delays.
(March 12 @ 3:45 p.m.) — Crews are on site at a house fire in Westsyde and RCMP have closed a portion of Westsyde Road in both directions.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said there is a structure fire on Westsyde Road between Huntington Drive and Kyle Drive. The street will be closed while Kamloops Fire Rescue deals with the blaze.

“There is no alternative route around this incident,” Shelkie said. “Police are asking people to avoid Westsyde Road in this area.”
