Kamloops is a beautiful spot, and you don't have to convince us that.
We're sure many more residents understand that after watching it in The Planet D's YouTube video about their rail journey on the Rocky Mountaineer.
The travel vloggers, who have 26,000 subscribers to their channel, recorded their whole trip from Vancouver to Banff with the first stop being none other than the River City. Though it was only on screen for less than 30 seconds, we see beautiful shots of Riverside Park, the Thompson River, and the Sandman Centre.
"Well we made it to our first stop here on the Rocky Mountaineer which is Kamloops," said Dave. "And has a really beautiful waterfront, riverfront here. So if you get a chance, come on down. grab something to eat, have a little picnic along the water, it's beautiful."
