Parents in the Central Okanagan should be aware of the latest batch of schools with COVID-19 exposures.
According to School District 23, another two institutions had members of the community test positive for the virus. The schools in question were Ellison Elementary and Central Programs and Services (Richter site).
Interior Health did not mention whether the affected people were staff members of students. The dates of exposure have not yet been posted.
Those who attend these schools should monitor themselves for COVID symptoms. Students in direct contact with the infect will be notified through contact tracing.
"The safety and well-being of students, families and staff remains our highest priority," wrote Central Okagan Public Schools. "Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible."
