Kelowna RCMP hoping to reunite family photo album with rightful owner

Are you missing some family photos with sentimental value?

If so, they may have found their way into the hands of the Kelowna RCMP.

Officers found the photo album with decade old pictures when they responded to a call from security officers on patrol in the 1800 block of Cooper Road on Wednesday.

The security guards stumbled upon the albums, as well as several boxes of Kodak transparency slides that were abandoned in the area.

“It’s obvious that the person who left these precious items behind saw no value in them,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.

“However, we know that these photographs had serious sentimental value to someone in our community, and we need help re-uniting them with their memories.”

If you’re the owner of these photographs or slides, or you know any of the people in them, you’re asked to contact Cst. Remi Desrosiers of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
