The May long weekend, often considered the official kickstart to summer, is right around the corner.
It may not seem like the start of the summer this year, as it’s expected to be cool and wet over the weekend, but we can’t control Mother Nature.
What we can control, however, are the things that make it feel like summer, like wasting the day away at one of Kelowna’s three popular splash parks.
All three will open for the year on Saturday and if you need a refresher, here’s where they’re located:
Once they open, all three will be open daily, weather permitting, through the Labour Day long weekend.
Hours of operation will be 10 am until 6 pm, which will extend until 8 pm on June 20.
“As waterparks are not staffed, parents and/or guardians are asked to remain on site and supervise while children play at water or splash parks,” explained a City of Kelowna release.
