“I find it so interesting that people are blaming the city for a problem that is at least provincial, if not federal,” explained Worman about homelessness in Kelowna.
“We have no budget for that. Does everyone want to raise their property taxes a certain percent in order to take care of that? No, that’s what our income taxes are supposed to be doing.”
