John Kot, owner of Genesis Kelowna, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We’re really excited about it. The last time you guys did a summit, I thought it was really well done and had great speakers. So, we’re looking forward to sponsoring this one again.”
Reflecting on the 2019 Level Up Leadership Summit, John noted its impact on his team, sharing, “I took my whole management team to it, and every one of them came out with a lot of good stuff that we actually used in our business.” He’s equally excited about this year’s focus on AI, especially with speakers like Peter Diamandis, who will provide insights into AI's role in health and robotics, and Kane and Alessia Minkus, who will demonstrate practical AI tools for businesses.
For John and other business owners, AI presents both exciting opportunities and challenges. “There’s lots of unknowns, right? Even myself, just trying to get a grasp on how it can help our business,” he admitted. He’s particularly interested in AI's potential in marketing, where it can “write creative, create the images for the creative, and actually help you target in a whole bunch of ways.”
In addition to sponsorship, Genesis Kelowna will showcase its luxury vehicles at the event, with a full display inside and out. “Being a new brand, especially in Kelowna, we just want to get as many people to have a look at it and see what it’s all about,” John said.
As Kelowna prepares for the AI Summit, it’s clear that this event is about more than just technology—it’s about preparing for the future. As John put it, “If you don’t know how to use AI properly in your business, or at least start trending in that area, it’s going to pass you by.”
