Three Victoria Shamrocks players have been named Western Lacrosse Association all-stars for the 2022 season.
Forward Jesse King was named a first team all-star following an electric campaign which saw him lead the league with 99 total points on 32 goals and 67 assists. The Victoria native would also pick up the league’s Top Scorer and Three Stars award for his efforts this season.
Meanwhile, the other King brother, Marshal King would be named a second team all-star alongside teammate Dallas Wade, who distinguished himself as one of the WLA’s top defenders.
Like his older sibling, Marshal King would enjoy a fantastic 2022 season, ranking third in the league in scoring with 75 points on 33 goals and 42 assists.
The Shamrocks are currently in the midst of a playoff battle against the Langley Thunder, who lead the series 2-0 after the first two contests.
The ‘Rocks will look to bounce back and pick up their first win of the series this Tuesday as they head to Langley for game 3.
