After some recent struggles, the West Kelowna Warriors have added a pair of players to their roster.
The first is one that Central Okanagan hockey fans will be familiar with, as former Kelowna Rocket Kelvin Hair signed with the team.
Hair, 18, was recently released by the Rockets but won’t have to go far to join his new club across the William R. Bennett Bridge.
“Kelvin is going to bring size and puck moving ability to our blue line,” said Geoff Grimwood. “We would like to welcome Kelvin and his family to our hockey club.”
The North Vancouver native didn’t manage a point, but did notch six penalty minutes in 30 games with Kelowna last year.
West Kelowna also added a forward to the roster, as the team acquired Eric Olson, 19, from the Brooks Bandits of the AJHL for future considerations.
“Eric is strong two way player who we expect will add some veteran experience and leadership to our dressing room,” Grimwood said.
While the @NAHLTitans lost tonight, @Cam_Kuhl_97 had quite the scrap with Eric Olson of the Philadelphia Rebels. And by scrap, I mean an all-out brawl. pic.twitter.com/bLVGSIErmN

Olson played last season with the Philadelphia Revels of the North American Hockey League after spending a year with the AJHL’s Spruce Grove Saints in 2016-17.
To make room for these players, the Warriors traded James Philpott, 18, to the Drumheller Dragons of the AJHL for a player development fee.
