(UPDATE: May 28 @ 2:05 pm) – Mounties in Prince George have confirmed that a woman reported missing on May 23, 2023 has been located.
In a release issued late Saturday night, Mounties said the 26-year-old female had been located “safe and sound.”

(Original story: May 23 @ 3:40 pm) – The Prince George RCMP is seeking the public’s help to locate 26-year-old Michelle Margaret Alec.
Family last saw Alec at the beginning of April, and she has not been seen or heard from since.
She is described as:
“Michelle’s family is very concerned for her well-being,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, the media relations officer for the Prince George RCMP.
“She usually checks in regularly with family, but has failed to do so since April.”
Alec can usually be found in the downtown area of Prince George, but has recently not been seen in the area.
Anyone who sees Michelle Alec is asked to call the non-emergency line at (250) 561-3300 to report it to a police officer.
